Andong-Icomos Convention on Successful Holding of World Historical Cities Conference

Andong City, North Gyeongsang Province, and the Korea Committee of the International Council on Monuments and Monuments (Icomos) signed an image business agreement on the 24th for the successful hosting of the 18th World Historical City Conference.
The agreement successfully hosted the 18th World Historical City Conference, which will be held at Andong International Convention Center for two nights and three days from Nov. 14 to 16, to promote Andong City and Korea's excellent cultural policies and heritage.
Since its establishment in 1999, the Icomos Korea Committee has held international conferences on cultural heritage, including the World Heritage Registration Review and Monitoring, and is a leading UNESCO advisory body with expertise and experience.
Song In-ho, chairman of the Icomos Korea Committee, said, "As an organization that has formed a partnership with the World Federation of Historic Cities, Icomos will thoroughly prepare everything, including consulting and consulting programs."
