Andong is a treasure trove of Korean history and culture that holds various histories and cultural heritages for each era.

The reason why we call Andong the capital of Korean spiritual culture is to look forward to the next millennium of Korea and to share the spiritual culture and moral values of Andong people, furthermore, with all the people.

The value of Korean spiritual culture provides vitality and hope to the lives of the people living in a chaotic society in which today's 'national spirit' is devastated. We believe the value of Korean spiritual culture is the most important key to leads the Korea future millennium century.

On July 4, 2006, the Korean Intellectual Property Office launched the brand 『Andong, the capital of Korean spiritual culture』. This reflects the demands of the times to spread the noble spiritual culture of Andong in the 21st century into our lives.
